I have been visiting the Karachi International Book Fair for the last 5 years and the fair is grown in scale and footfall. One must take into account the security situation and the fact that many schools have just announced exams - which would explain the low footfall on the first day. I would encourage everyone to attend this event, its probably one of the few good things one can experience in this country at this time.
